This highly effective German made acne light product produces blue light at the 415nm wavelength and red light at the 660nm wavelength for the treatment of acne.
Why these wavelengths?
The wavelengths are exactly as proven effective from a scientific study undertaken on 107 patients at Hammersmith Hospital and published by the British Journal of Dermatology. The researchers concluded -
"We propose that blue light and red light acts synergistically in improving acne by combining anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory action, rendering phototherapy with blue-red light an effective and safe treatment for acne vulgaris"

This product does not emit any possibly harmful wavelengths such as UV-A or UV-B light. Recommended effective treatment with the acne light is 15 minutes per day.This can be later reduced to a maintenance level of twice per week once you are satisfied with your skin appearance.
